Metro Publisher offers both Business (Location) Searches and Events Searches that allow readers to find or browse places and events by tags and regions. All searches have a map feature to help your readers plan their visits.
Location Searches are displayed with the following features:
- a list of locations, i.e. businesses or public places
- a keyword (tag) search field
- a map with pins to indicate where the locations are
- categories as additional filter options
- quicklinks to map areas you can set
- search engine optimization
Event Searches are displayed with the following features:
- an events list in chronological order
- virtual events option
- a keyword (tag) search field
- a map with pins to indicate where the event takes place
- a calendar to search by date or date range
- categories as additional filter options
- quicklinks to map areas you can set
Please note that Metro Publisher also offers Event Calendars as Sprockets which can include an option for your readers to submit their own events if you wish.
