Metro Publisher has released a new feature called AI Author. It currently is in Beta but we encourage any of our clients to try it out and provide feedback.
We look forward to seeing and hearing from you how you use these new tools. During the beta phase the AI requests are free of charge.
To try it out, log in as an Editor and go to you Content tab:
1. Suggest a Topic
Click "Let AI Suggest an Article Topic" to open a popup with suggested topics. Selecting a suggestion will populate the prompt field, but you can also edit it or enter your own prompt.
2. Generate the Article
Once your prompt is ready, click "Generate Article". Article generation may take a few minutes. While you wait, useful tips for using Metro Publisher will be displayed, including links to support resources.
3. Refine the Article
After the article is generated, you can provide additional prompts in the bottom-right field to have the AI refine the text.
4. Add Images (Optional)
- Switch to the "Image" tab at the top.
- Click "Generate Image" to let the AI create an image based on the article text.
- Refine the image using prompts in the bottom-right field.
- Once satisfied, select the image on the left and click "Add Article" to publish the article with the chosen image.
- Add Article Without Image
If you don’t want to add an image, click "Add Article" directly once the article is finalized. - Resetting
You can always reset the form at any time by clicking "Reset Article" at the bottom. - Adding, Editing, and Publishing
- When you are ready to move on, click "Add Article".
- Your article will be saved in draft mode and you will have the option to "Edit" or "Publish."
- Here you can edit the meta information added by the AI during the article's creation.
