Display Advertising also referred to as Banner Ads are a vital source of online revenue for publishers. Metro Publisher integrates Double Click for Publishers Small Business (DfP) and Broadstreet Ads, which means that you manage all your ad serving through DfP or Broadstreet.
NOTE: The information below pertains ONLY to Broadstreet ad serving and DfP non-responsive ad serving. The ad structure for DfP responsive ads is different. Ad Structure of a Metro Publisher Website
To simplify online ad serving all Metro Publisher sites have common structure when it comes to ad positions.
The ad units available to you are shown in this graphic below. All the dark green boxes represent ad unit for the particular type. The light green box is a non standard 205x90 ad size commonly used for house ads, but you are free to use this position however you wish.
Here are the ad sizes for each section:
Homepage
- 2x Leaderboard (728x90 pixels) at the top and bottom
- 1x Custom (205x90 pixels)
- 1x MPU - medium rectangle (300x250 pixels)
Section Pages
- 2x Leaderboard (728x90 pixels) at the top and bottom
- 1x Custom (205x90 pixels)
- 1x MPU - medium rectangle (300x250 pixels)
Subsection Pages
- 2x Leaderboard (728x90 pixels) at the top and bottom
- 1x Custom (205x90 pixels)

- 6x Tile* (125x125 pixels) *NOT available for Broadstreet Ads!
